Matthias Rippmann
Matthias Rippmann studied architecture at the University of Stuttgart and the University of Melbourne and received his Dipl.-Ing. degree in 2007. He is currently part of the Block research group as a research assistant in the field of computational design strategies. Prior Matthias gained his professional and academic experience in various institutions in Stuttgart. His interest in complex geometries and advanced construction led him to the Institute for Lightweight Structures and Conceptual Design (ILEK) at the University of Stuttgart where he was a co-leader of several research and teaching projects as a research assistant.
Moreover he worked on numerous international Projects for Behnisch Architects, L.A.V.A. and Werner Sobek Stuttgart as an architect and consultant. In 2010 he established his own firm ROK – Rippmann Oesterle Knauss.
