Florentine Sack, born 1968, researcher and freelance architect in Berlin, studied Architecture at TU-Braunschweig and Architectural Association School of Architecture, London where she graduated in 1994. She received a doctorate degree at University of Innsbruck in 2002, doctoral advisor Prof. Dr.-Ing. Eda Schaur.
She worked as research associate at Institute for Structure and Design, University of Innsbruck, 1998-2004, where she is back as lecturer since 2009. She has been guest critic and lecturer at different Architecture Schools in Germany and Switzerland and was guestprofessor at unit Costume Design, Faculty of Design, UdK, Berlin, 2009.
Florentine Sack is interested in architectural design tools conveying a strong connection between man and environment, published as “Open House-Towards a new Architecture”, jovis 2006, several articles in magazines and public talks, 2006 – 2012.
